The restored synagogue is a significant European relic of the history of the Jews. It had been built by the Jews of Sopron in around 1300 and had been in use until 1526, when the Jews were expelled from Sopron. The exhibition in the building displays items and illustrations related with the religion of the Jews as well as the finds opened during the excavation of the bath.
