From the middle of the 17th century the building of the former pharmacy called Angyal was in the possession of families of chemists and doctors. The former arcaded house got its present shape in 1850. In the museum you can see the 19th century counter and the cupboards of the pharmacy. In the cases the relics of the pharmacy and medicine of Sopron are displayed, completed with rare, 16th-18th century medical and pharmaceutical books from book collections of Sopron.
