Jenő Barcsay's art is unique not only in Szentendre, but also in the 20th century history of art in Hungary: he is a representative of constructivism as well as figurative constructivism. Apart form the small-size colour compositions of intimate tone, monumental mosaic and upholstery sketches and finely drawn studies are also displayed.
