Other information:

In the place of the monument building there used to be a water mill in the Turkish times, which was driven by the brook Zerna. The mill became Nándor Kotsy's property in the 20th century, earlier it was called János Major's mill. It served as a mill until the 1960s and the ruined building was purchased by the Balaton National Park Directorate in 2000. In the building beautifully renewed in 2004 visitors can see working machines of milling industry, as well as exhibits and documents presenting the work and life of millers. You can also find a playground, a picnic place, a publication shop here. It is worth visiting other sights of interest around the village (stupa, castle ruins of Tátika and Rezi, Basalt street, Otter nature trail at Vindornyaszőlős).
