It was built in the second half of the 18th century in neo-classical and Romantic style. It was rebuilt several times in the first half of the 19th century. The mansion is empty today.
The building of the predecessor of the present mansion was commissioned by count György Fekete, who was the chief justice in the country. His son, János Fekete, a retired general of cavalry, was an educated aristocrat, who started writing poems influenced by the ideas of Enlightenment. According to an anecdote, he sent his poems to Voltaire accompanied by a barrel of Tokaj wine. Voltaire praised the wine in his reply but he did not mention the poems...
