Our restaurant is located in the heart of a world heritage, the Castle area. The house which used to be the residence of the king's head sommelier, recalls the spirit of old times. We are expecting you on three levels amongst these antique walls.
The quarry stone wine cellar was developed from a branch of the famous Buda Labirinth which runs underneath the 500 year old building. Wine exhibitions, dinners and wine tasting are waiting for our wine lover guests here, so as for those who like the traditional Hungarian cusine. The delicious tastes are provided by our chef Gabor Kalocsai. Spend some time in our wine cellar and feel like you are in King Mathias' court.
The first floor parlour walls are decorated with knighthood murals and breastplates which lend a peculiar spirit to the restaurant. This spirit creates a perfect location for family celebrations, company dinners and other various events.
From spring until autumn you are welcome to admire the swirl of Buda Castle and the towers of Mathias Church from our terrace.
According to the needs of our guests it is also possible to spend an ancient dinner during which the dishes are served in traditional pottery.
