The Coronation Church in Buda Castle is the sanctuary of the Hungarian nation. On the main altar is the statue of Mary with the crown that was sent by the Pope in 2000. The Loreto-chapel is famous for an ancient sculpture of pietry, in a side-chapel we can find the tomb of King Béla III. The frescoes and the stained-glass windows are also famous.
On Sundays at 10.00 a.m. there is a mass with music, in the evenings concerts of church music quite regularly.
