The town along the river Tisza has nearly 3,600 inhabitants. It became more important after the building of the new Tisza-bridge named after Ferenc Rákóczi II. It is accessible on road No. 37 from Sárospatak, over the Bodrog-bridge. Its monument Calvinist church can be found in Petőfi Sándor street. At 76 Fő út you can find a nice cottage. The river Tisza near the town has an excellent sandy beach which offers safe bathing, and it is a popular place for those who like cycling, camping or fishing.
