The Bori Kisjankó Memorial House opened in 1974 houses an exhibition commemorating the folk culture of the period as well as the life and career of the famous drawing women of Mezőkövesd who were awarded the title of Masters of Folklore. In the heart of the part of the town called Hadas, which consists of small plots and little winding streets, you can find a house built around 1851 which still preserves the typical three-section (bedroom+kitchen+larder)layout and interior of old folk architecture.
