Village with 1,370 residents 7 km south of Lake Balaton at Zamárdi. A Turkish fortress was situated on the place of the Roman Catholic church. The village is famous for its lace-making and the folk art fair held in each summer. There are traces of cave-dwellings in the walls of the nearby loess hills.
