in Baskó:   Hotel - Business Travel

The settlement is situated in a basin surrounded by romantic hills. The air in the hills is very healthy. It was first mentioned in records in 1388 in the time of King Sigismund. The iconostas of the orthodox church with an onion-shaped dome (1790) is worth seeing. Visitors can have a rest in the Chapel in the upper part of the settlement. The names of the victims of the two World Wars can be read on the outer wall of the chapel. The wooden statue of King Stephen and a statue of Pieta can be seen in the public squares of the village. The Kőrös hill is ideal for hiking. On the top you can find a 636 m high look-out tower bearing the name of Ferenc Rákóczi offering a wonderful view of the countryside.
