A village with a population of 2,127 12 km south of Miskolc on the eastern slopes of the Bükk Mountains. Brook Csincse, dammed up to become a lake, flows in the outskirts of the village and offers an excellent venue for holiday making and angling. Significant buildings of the settlement include: the 16th century Tithe cellar and the Catholic church built in 1735. The parish feast is held on the first Saturday of September.
