Village with about 2,000 people on the left bank of the river Bodrog, near Tokaj-Bodrogzug nature conservation park, near road No. 37. It got its name after the Walloon vine-gorwers, who settled here in the 12th century. The Roman Catholic church was built in the 14th century, it was rebuilt in Baroque style in the 18th century. The foundation stone of the Calvinist church was laid in 1784, it was built in the Louis XVI. style. At the beginning of the 1800s Kossuth, one of the governors of Hungary, lived in Kossuth house. The structure of the stone bridge in Olaszliszka is unique, it is still in use.
