The village is situated in Inner-Somogy, at the border of the Nature Reservation Area along the Boronka, halfway between Marcali and Kaposvár. It has nearly 600 inhabitants. Its outstanding sight is the Old Foundry Museum. Its present building is impressive, it may refer to a yurta, an arrow-head or a crest of a helmet.
