The village is situated in the south of the Nagyberek-Fehérvíz Marshland Nature Conservation Area, it is accessible from the direction of Marcali-Nikla or Buzsák. Going towards Buzsák you can visit the monument row of cellars, or you can go boating or fishing in the lakes. It is an old settlement, it was first mentioned in records under the name Villa Task in as early as 1268.
