The small village is situated south-east of Small Balaton. Its history dates back to the 1300s, it was first mentioned in records under the name Tykos. At present it has 142 inhabitants. As it is situated near (8 km) Lake Balaton, this peaceful and quiet place offers ideal possibilities for relaxation.
