A settlement of 3,400 inhabitants covering an area of 174 square kilometres. The second largest waste land of Hungary with its unique flora and fauna, which is part of the Kiskunság National Park, lies in its territory. The untouched environment, the primeval juniper grove, the Shepherd Museum, the indigenous animals (Hungarian grey cattle, stud, a species of sheep called 'racka', the breed of pigs called 'mangalica'), the horse shows offer special experience for visitors. Being tired of so many sights visitors can have a rest in the Karikás inn, the Bugac inn, the Délibáb restaurant, the Bucka Hotel or in the Horse-riding pension, where they can taste the wonderful dishes of the region. |
