The little village with a population of 162 is 5 km from Zalaegerszeg in the most beautiful part of the Göcseji-hills, the highest point of which is the nearby 302 m high Kandikó. In the centre of the village there is the statue of the Holy Virgin. Its stand got the shape of the historic Hungary making us remember the Peace Treaty of Trianon. The surrounding hills provide a wonderful opportunity for excursions.
