Village with 1,790 inhabitants at the foot the Eastern-Mecsek (national highway No. 6). The Saint Stephen chapel, now cemetery chapel is from the 14th century. The Baroque episcopal palace and the adjacent granary were built around 1770. The Ethnic House of Regional Traditions and Village Museum, showing the life of the German population of the village and the region, was opened in autumn 1977. It is only a short walk to get to the ruins of Réka Castle, the birthplace of Saint Margit, Queen of Scotland.
