Village with 1,200 inhabitants in the Bükk Mountains, north of Bálványos. The Calvinist church was built in late Baroque style. By a few minutes walk the ruins of Dédes castle, built in the 14th century, can be reached. The Permian rocks of the Bükk can be studied in the nearby Mihalovics quarry.
