Other information:

It was built in 1896-97 in the style of historicism. It serves as an old people's home today.
The Károlyi family of counts converted the banquet hall behind the middle step-out on the first floor of the mansion - which was unique in Hungarian architecture - into a chapel in 1910, as Tibor Károlyi, the couple's first-born son, who died at the age of 8, laid in state there, and the couple wanted to preserve his memory in this way. The floor and the walls of the chapel are covered with white and black marble tiles, the ceiling was decorated with stucco. In the middle there is a white marble altar with stairs and with a black marble crucifix. In the chapel you can find two statues: a statue of count Tibor Károlyi and a statue of countess Mrs. Imre Károlyi.
