Town with 3,500 inhabitants 17 km west of Veszprém on national highway No. 8. The predecessor of the world-famous porcelain manufacture was founded in 1826 by Vince Stingl. In the Porcelanium films and technological demonstration show the process of making porcelain. The 175-year-old history of the Manufacture is presented in the renewed Museum. House of Regional Traditions of ethnic Germans can also be found in the town.
