Settlement with 930 inhabitants 22 kms from Pápa, it is the land of people who utilize the fertile soil between the Marcal and Rába with high-standard agriculture. The Marcal had caused a lot of troubles, it was regulated in 1966. The church of the village was dedicated in 1776, then in the 1820s it was rebuilt in classicist style.
