in Nagylak:

This village of 700 inhabitants is a crossing at the southern frontier towards Arad. The name of the village is misleading, because it is the outskirts of the historic Nagylak, settling around a hemp processing factory. The old town now belongs to Romania and only this small, architecturally uninteresting part remained in Hungary. This was the place where in 1514 the troops of György Dózsa defeated the Hungarian nobility. The modern statue of András Lapis commemorates the famous commander.
