A village with 260 inhabitants 30 km southeast of Sopron. The small village, rich in historic events, was for a time the seat of Sopron county. During the 17th and 18th centuries it was the Calvinist cultural centre of the region. In the 1730s a Lutheran and a Catholic church were built. An exhibition of church history can be seen in the Lutheran parsonage and the Lutheran Church is the main contributor to the annual organization of the Nemeskér Cultural Days. |
