Village with 1,200 inhabitants 9 km northeast of Kiskőrös. It is first mentioned in records in 1302. In the Turkish times the village was destroyed, it started to become peopled again in the 18th century. Pista Dankó, the famous, Szeged born composer of songs spent the last years of his life in the Dankó villa. There will be a resort village established by 2000 near Pista Dankó¦s building that can be visited today, too. |
