in Tiszacsege:   Hotel - Sight - Wellness, Spa - Travel Service

A small town of 5,400 inhabitants north-east of Tiszafüred, along the river Tisza. The settlement dates back to the age of Arpads and belongs to the Tisza mente Kistérség ('small region along the river Tisza') geographically but as a resort it is part of Lake Tisza. The bondsmen's house, which is now a museum, was built in 1833. The region with its rich flora and fauna is ideal for hiking and bicycle tours. The Kácsa-island, the Kiskácsa forest and the Willow and Hardwood grove are a nature reserve. From spring to autumn pleasure boats and excursion boats run between Kisköre and Tokaj. The medicinal water of the thermal bath, which comes from 1150 m deep and is 81 °C, is good for curing rheumatism, muscle pains and herpetic diseases. In July cross, speed races and old-time motorbike races are held here. At the second weekend of August it is the venue for the Tisza Cup equestrian and show-jumping championship. The series of events of Csege Days are held on the first weekend of August.
