A village with 1,490 inhabitants halfway between Érd and Lake Velence. The former Sajnovics mansion was built in baroque style in the 18th century. János Sajnovics, famous linguist and astronomer, Jesuit monk, whose statue can be seen in the main square, was born here. The baroque Roman Catholic church was built in 1760, while that of the Lutherans is late baroque from 1790. |
