Town with 15,000 inhabitants 11 km west of Szolnok on national highway No. 4. Baroque monuments include Saint Stephen's church (1785) and the Calvinist church. Neo-Classical monuments include the Synagogue, Sivó mansion, Talián-Viczián mansion, Vigyázó castle and Beöthy-Kazinczy mansion. Exhibition of local history collections in the village museum. Traditional program of the town is the 'Pünkösdölő' (girls' Whitsuntide procession). Ranch programmes of more days are also organized in order to show the ranch life with riding, archery and trying folk trades.
