Village with 866 inhabitants on the southern part of the Börzsöny Mountains. By 1777 the exceptionally beautiful baroque church and monastery were built on the ruins of a medieval monastery of the Paulines. The monastery has been used as a prison for more than 100 years. The remaining part of the 14th century Gothic building is the sanctuary of the existing church. |
