Village with 2,746 inhabitants in the Danube Bend. Railway border crossing place to Slovakia. Roman catholic church built in 1774, in baroque style. Mansion on the bank of the Danube built in the late 19th century according to plans by Ignác Alpár, now houses a secondary school, Szent László Gimnázium. Börzsöny Museum with archaeological and ethnographic collections.
